Maggie usually paints more than one chair of any given design.

But, because the chairs are hand painted and Maggie does not mass produce, the chairs will be similar and uniquely one-of-a-kind.
Are your chairs all one-of-a-kind original works of art?
New and refurbished furniture become the base for each artistic work. Each hand painted chair, table, bench or other handpainted piece of furniture bears the small imperfections that come with gentle handling and use by previous generations.

Why is there a 4-to-6 weeks delivery?
If you purchase a chair from my current inventory, I will ship it  right away. Otherwise, your chair is painted after it is ordered. During this wait time, your chair is being prepared, painted, varnished, drying and curing before taking the careful steps to wrap and ship to you.  You will receive an e-mail confirmation letting you know that your order has been received and when your order will be shipped out.
What is the origin of the furniture you paint on?
Vintage chairs are purchased from antique stores, flea markets or my favorite yard sales.  I can also purchase new hardwood chairs upon request.  

I like to inspect the older chair finds to ensure they are sturdy and ready to accept the magic touch and make them into your family heirlooms for generations to come.

What kind of finish are the chairs coated with?
All the furniture from Maggie Miller HAND PAINTED is varnished with at least four coats of a non-yellowing, non-toxic polyurethane.

The chairs are not meant to just be looked at and admired; they are meant to be used and enjoyed for many years and generations to come!

How can I be sure the colors will match my decor?

Colors viewed on a computer screen and the actual color of the furniture may vary. I can send or receive color samples for anyone who wants to have an exact match.
