Acceptable Methods of Payment
PayPal
You do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card. Just choose option PayPal and click on 'Pay by Credit card'.
Certified Bank Money Orders Personal Checks
- Checks need to be cleared before your order is shipped.
- A $35.00 fee will be assessed if your check does not clear.
- Full payment must be received within 3 days of order placement -- no exceptions.
- Order will be canceled if no email correspondence has been received from you. This is out of courtesy to those who may be interested in the item that is on hold for you; since most of Maggie's items are one-off-a-kind and are not duplicated.
Shipping
Standard Delivery
- Orders for in stock items will ship within 3 business days from the day your order is placed and will ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx. Expect delivery of your order within 7-10 business days after Maggie ships. A street address is required for all deliveries.
- Applicable sales tax will be added to all orders delivered to GA RESIDENTS.
Standard Delivery charges

- $95.01 - $125.00 - $20.00
- $125.01- $200.00 - $24.00
Fixed Delivery Charges or (FDC)
Items with an 'FDC' after the price and item description, indicates your item will be delivered to you for a fixed delivery charge instead of the standard delivery charge. This charge allows us to pass cost savings along to you due to the packing requirements and dimensions of these items. The exact FDC by items is available next to the item you click on. This charge is for oversized large pieces of furniture and items with odd dimensions and configurations.
Overnight Delivery*
- Overnight delivery guarantees items that are in-stock will arrive by the end of the next business day if ordered before noon Eastern time.
- Please add $29.95 per order to the standard delivery charges. Overnight Delivery services are not available for freight items.
2-Day Express Delivery*
- 2-Day Express Delivery guarantees that in-stock orders will arrive in two business days if ordered before noon Eastern Time.
- Please add $19.95 per order to the standard delivery charges. 2-day Delivery Express services are not available for freight items.
*Please be aware: Overnight and Express Delivery charges are an estimate and may increase with package dimension, weight and number of items. These prices are updated and refunds will be made if appropriate.
Order Processing
- Maggie Miller HAND PAINTED does not guarantee a delivery date on any orders. Maggie will strive to process, package and ship your order as promptly as possible, but sometimes there are processing delays. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.
- Any matters or special arrangements concerning this information can be discussed directly with Maggie.If there are any issues with the order such as payment, mailing address or missing information, she will try to notify you within 2 days via email and/or phone to resolve the issue.
- Keep in mind that most Maggie Miller HAND PAINTED items are one-of-a-kind and are also marketed through other venues. So, if you see a hand painted item that you like; Maggie suggests you buy it, in all likelihood there will never be another one like it.
- Typical processing for in-stock items can range from 2 to 10 business days. For custom orders, you will need to talk to Maggie directly. Depending on the size and intricacy of the order as well as schedule, she will give you an estimated ship date. Generally, most custom orders can be fulfilled within 6 weeks.
Damaged Item and Refund / Exchange Policy
All merchandise is boxed to meet shipping guidelines and packaged to minimize the possibility of damage during shipping.
1. When your item is delivered, examine the outside package material for signs of damage. If there are signs of damage, indicate this to the shipping agent and refuse to sign for it.
2. Contact Maggie immediately by email and she will work with the shipping agent to resolve the issue. If the item is damaged, but the damage is not obvious from the packaging and you accept delivery, contact Maggie immediately so that she can take action.
- If items are damaged during shipping, please email a photo of the damaged art and Maggie will recreate your commission.
- Because Maggie Miller HAND PAINTED product line is custom hand painted, no two pieces ever look exactly alike. There may be slight differences if a piece needs to be recreated. Maggie will work hard to make sure your custom piece is as exact as the first original piece.
- All other items damaged should be returned and a replacement will be mailed at no cost to you.
- You may return any product, EXCEPT custom orders, within 5 days of receipt for full credit minus 10% for restocking. Returns must include the original receipts, no copies.
- Unless an item is received damaged during transit, return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Custom orders cannot be returned. Because of the unique nature of Maggie's services in creating custom pieces, Maggie Miller Hand Painted does not offer refunds on custom art pieces.

Ordering a Gift Certificate
- Certificates are good for anything in the store and for custom orders, but are not redeemable for cash. Unused balances are likewise not redeemable for cash.
- Free shipping: (1) All gift certicates (2) On one item purchased using a $50+ gift certificate.
- If only a partial amount of the gift certificate is used in the transaction, credit towards a future purchase will be issued for any unused balance.
- Should the transaction exceed the gift certificate amount, the recipient will pay the balance using PayPal, Money Order, or Check at time of purchase.
- If you desire the gift certificate to be mailed directly to the recipient, please include recipient's full name and address in the PayPal 'ShipTo' address area.
Custom Work Policy
2. Maggie will give you a rough estimate of the amount of time, cost. If the estimate fits your budget and you decide to move forward with the project, Maggie will begin with a formal arrangement to refine the estimate and scale of the work. Emails received with your approval are considered a binding agreement.
3. Terms will be drawn up. Once signed by both parties, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit before beginning work. All terms and conditions on this page for shipping and handling will apply.
4. Maggie will provide color samples and comps for your approval before beginning your piece.
5. Final payment will be required before shipping and delivery of the final product(s) per the payment terms of the signed agreement.
